Whether you are an experienced professional or a recent graduate, there may be opportunities for you at Ference Weicker & Company.

We recognize that our services are only as strong as our people. If you are interested in a fast-paced, team-based environment with the opportunity to grow by working with colleagues who are leaders in the consulting industry, Ference Weicker & Company may be the place for you. Our project teams commonly consist of Project Managers, Research Staff and Associates.

    Project Managers

A Project Manager is assigned to each project on which we work. The Project Manager participates in the development of the work plan as well as the field research and plays a lead role in the analysis of the results, the preparation of the report, and reporting on the progress of the assignment (against timelines and budgets). Our Project Managers generally have graduate degrees in business or public administration as well as extensive industry and consulting experience. While many of our Project Managers are developed internally, we are always looking for professionals with a strong educational background, considerable consulting experience, and specialized expertise in key industry sectors or core functional areas.

Over time, it is anticipated that the responsibilities of a Project Manager will broaden in terms of the number of projects managed and other Project Managers managed. Commensurate with their increased role and responsibility, such Project Managers may have the opportunity to share in the profitability of the firm. As their value to the firm increases and is recognized by the Partners, Project Managers may have the opportunity to earn shares in the firm towards a partnership position.

    Research Staff

Most recent graduates join our firm in a research capacity. Researchers participate in the implementation of our field research programs, which commonly involve literature reviews, surveys, interviews, focus groups, and coding and tabulating the data collected. They are provided with opportunities to further develop their skills over time and develop areas of specialty. For many, the objective is to gain the expertise and experience need to develop into a Project Manager. To facilitate the development of skills, researchers regularly receive evaluations with a particular focus on identifying areas and strategies for further development. Our research staff members typically have, at a minimum, a bachelor degree in business or public administration.

    Associates

Associates are consultants who have specialized expertise in a particular sector and knowledge area. Most Associates are engaged on a contract basis for a specific assignment.
